Movement is a key player in healthy living. Our work together restores healthy movement and elasticity for all tissues. It is a nudge at times, and others it’s a deep strong touch. Our session is guided by your body's "inner physician", allowing changes as the body responds.
Practicing Yoga and meditation for the past twenty years teaches me to listen with clarity, and influences the Manual Medicine session. A combination of Myofascial release, Feldenkrais Method, Visceral Manipulation, & Neural Manipulation is used to treat your tissues. Tissue specific fascial mobilization is the "secret sauce".
Clients breathe better, move better, feel taller and relaxed. Pain is reduced and quality of life improved. This work is for all the systems in your body and has lasting impact.
- A session integrates movement while mobilizing Neuro-Myo-Fascia to carefully redistribute tension. The session is informative for the client and therapist alike.
- Visceral manipulation, Neural manipulation, Cranial Sacral and Manual Articular Approach are based in Osteopathic Medicine. These are highly specialized techniques of assessment and treatment. Work with the organs (Visceral) or with the Cranium, Spine and Meninges (Neural Manipulation) is done carefully. At times this is blended into our sessions or can be done as send alone sessions. Each one of our licensed massage and bodywork therapists is unique in how they approach the body. They study and learn a systemic approach to the assessing and treating the body. Aside from practicing medical massage, they take continuing education courses in ethics, communication and various modalities of massage. Our therapists listen carefully to your needs, create a safe environment for you, and together come up with a massage session that best suits your needs at the time.
